So i was writing a nice long note and it all got erased somehow. So unfortunately this one will be brief.
Life's good. My goal is 10 baptisms before i leave Huber Heights. We've got 2 in December and a good number in January coming up. Lots of great progressing investigators.
Elder Evans and i are doing well. Zone Leaderish things are great. I've had to call a few missionaries to repentance this week, but nothing big.
I'm excited to hear about Chad's call. Sounds like a great fit for him. Challenging.
Don't worry about the suit. I picked one up at a thrift store this week that i should be able to make due for a while. I just need to find a member to alter it.
Omaha? What the heck is in Omaha? I don't think dad would make a very good farmer, and i'm pretty sure that's all that people do there. But you do what you do. haha.
Tell dad not to worry and to be happy. It's a commandment. "Lift up your head and be of good cheer." 3 Ne. 1: 13 -- Straight from the Angel of the Lord Himself.
Now my doctrinal note this week brings great cheer. It's my new favorite scripture. "And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up." It's important to realize that the Lord gets there before we ever do. He already knows the outcome, he's just waiting for us to humble ourselves so he can show us where to go. It's his plan, his work, and his glory.
I also think that the second part of that passage of scripture it very important. "Whoso receiveth you receiveth me; and the same will feed you, and clothe you, and give you money. " I'm still waiting for this part to happen. I would love to be recieved like that.
Be good. Have a wonderful week.
Love,
Austin
